For the Kane Hall renovation at the University of Washington, MBT Architecture, together with the acoustical consultant, The Greenbusch Group, created a completely modernized design. Newmat was chosen as one of the acoustical treatments used for the 700-seat Roethke Auditorium. Newmat's white matte microperforated finish was selected for its acoustical performance, as well as its aesthetic value, to cover approximately 2,500 square feet of ceiling area under the mezzanine and walkways.
