In this recently built showroom for Levi Strauss in Manhattan, Johnson Schwinghammer Lighting Consultants chose Newmat's translucent membranes (NewLight), with neon lighting behind it for the lobby area. In addition, Newmat built and installed 15 custom light boxes consisting of aluminum valances and two layers of translucent membranes backlit with fluorescent fixtures. The lighting designer and the architect successfully utilized the monolithic aspect, flexibility, and light diffusion of the Newmat systems for this creative project.
